September 12 2025 we advised EWF members that the USDJPY pair was in a bearish wave count and to only look for SELLS.
USDJPY 1 Hour Chart New York Update September 12 2025 (Bearish Wave Count)
On September 12 2025 I entered the sell position on the USDJPY pair at 147.78 with a 30 pip stop loss at 148.08 and was looking for a move lower below the previous day September 11 2025 low.

Sell Trade Setup
1. Elliott Wave count is bearish and structure is calling for a red wave ii termination which will be followed by continuation lower.
2. Price tapped into both bearish pink and gray supply zones and both reacted with move lower.
3. Bearish divergence pattern (blue) formed in the gray supply zone signalling the red wave ii termination and also signalling the pair would reverse lower.
All the points above combined together was enough for me to enter the sell trade with confidence.
USDJPY 15 Minute Chart September 16 2025 (Targets Hit/Trade Closed)
USDJPY moves lower and on September 16 2025 price hits the 5R target at 146.28 from 147.78 and I closed the sell trade for +150 pips (+5% gain risking 1% on every trade)
A trader should always have multiple strategies all lined up before entering a trade. Never trade off one simple strategy. When multiple strategies all line up it allows a trader to see a clearer trade setup. We at EWF never say we are always right. No market service provider can forecast markets with 100% accuracy. Only thing we at EWF 100%, is that we are RIGHT more than we are WRONG.
